Che Go, Korean BBQ @ Jusco Bandar Perda

Che Go is available in Jusco Alma, Bukit Mertajam.

This was my third visit to Che Go for lunch and I managed to snap some photos this time XD.

Che Go serves a variety of Korean dishes which suits the locals' taste bud as they are spicy. You can get most well-known Korean delicacies here, including Barbecue Meat, Bibim Bab, Chicken Ginseng Soup, as well Korean pancake. The BBQ set of this eatery is not bad. I like the well marinated chicken and the meat is cooked beautifully, without any being burnt. However, we can't frequent this eatery often as the dish is rather expensive.

Since I can’t eat much, 3 of us decided to order the Family Set A for 2 person (Marinated chicken) which included 6 side dishes of a variety of preserved vegetables (kimchi), as well as a Hot Pot Kimchi Soup, 2 bowls of Korean rice and slices of watermelon for dessert. This set costs RM48.00. The price varies based on the selection of meat chosen.

The interior decoration of Che Go with a twist of Korean Theme.

The kitchen before the dining area.

The elaborated design on the Korean chopsticks.
It is flat and rather difficult to use as compared to the Chinese chopsticks which are round.

Hot Pot Korean Kimchi Soup.
The broth is cooked by using kimchi with a variety of vegetables and tou fu.
This soup is okay. Not one of my fav though

Our 6 side dishes of the day!
Kimchi (Koren preserved cabbage),
preserved cucumber, stir-fried broccoli, bell peppers,
cucumber with sour plum and mixed vegetables.
You can refill the side dishes as many time as you like. XD
Same goes for the green tea @ RM2.00

Our marinated chicken with raw vegetables.
The waiter will grill the meat for the customers.

Grilling...grilling...grilling...

Ta da! The chicken is ready. Bon appetit!

You can wrap the chicken with the grilled vegetables with fresh green lettuce.
Again, the lettuce can be refilled.

Korean Pancake @ RM12.00

This is my fav! I like the taste of it.
The pancake is best eaten hot when it is served to taste its crispiness.
You can dip it with some sauce served together with the pancake.
The sauce seems oily though.

Well, we had a great lunch there. I would like to try out the Bibim Bab for my next visit.

Food: 7/10 ( I like the pancake and the marinated barbecue meat. Worth a try!)

Ambiance: 8/10 (Clean Korean styled restaurant...nothing unique except for the Korean Styled seating area)
