Staying Up! Among the Clouds @ Penang Hill, Penang

It was a long time ago when I went to Penang Hill with my family. I remember the slow funicular train, pretty flowers and breath taking view of George Town from the hill.

Since some of my friends haven't been there before, we decided to go up the hill for a visit, as well as to see the changes of the place over the years.

Our train ticket
RM 8.00 per adult with MyKad

So, remember to bring your Malaysian IC along.

My fav photo of all the photos I took. X3
It is amazing and the air is cold and refreshing.
At last, away from the scorching heat of the city.

The new funicular train is indeed faster and more comfortable.
We went there during a public holiday (it was 3 months ago,
can't really remember the day), thus, the train was packed
like a sardine. O.O

Full of holiday goers and exciting kids.

The blooming flowers.
Pretty and good for you to practice your photography skill.

The bird's eye view of George Town.

Too bad the weather changed,
with heavy dark clouds looming above the beautiful town. :(

The Indian temple on the hill.
There is a mosque nearby too.

Plus, you can see an owl museum, an old funicular train
at the square, a post office, a food court and some bungalows.

Due to the bad weather, we had to cut short our
exploration of the hill.

The trip up the hill was short, but at least we had a glimpse of the improvement and modification of the hill.
We didn't managed to see many pretty blooming flowers, nor explore the part behind the mosque. Nevertheless, we had an enjoyable time hanging out.
