The Year of the Dragon 2012

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!

It is a splendid celebration indeed with the days off from work, the marvellous food, the new clothes...plus receiving red packets. lolz (it is a plus for me as I am still 'happily' single)

Anyway, my celebration this year was the same as every year. Getting together with family and relatives is a must for us. Nevertheless, I had a good time so far.

Hopefully, I'll have a great start as well. ^^

Had steamboat for reunion dinner.
Prawns, tofu, won ton and lots of lots of assorted fish balls.

The steamboat: in the making

 My bowl of noodles soup!

See the brownish fish ball that looks like fried Japanese tofu?
It is actually cheese fish ball.
The taste is cheesy.
Not really fancy this because of the overwhelming smell.

 Red packets with different designs!

When for a stroll on the first day of CNY after dinner.
The signature 'G' symbol of G Hotel.
Red in colour...i was hoping to see something more unique.

The small 'G' on the wall...near the hotel's entrance.

The God of Prosperity's balloon outside Paragon, Gurney.

The new Paragon @ Gurney.
