Sweet 16 @ Penang Times Square

After dinner with my friend at Times Square the other day , we decided to go over to Full house for some dessert and stuff. I've been dying to go there , but, to my dismay, the place was occupied for some filming or event and thus, we need to wait to get a seat.

We decided to change our plan and went to Sweet 16. Sweet 16 is located beside Face-to-Face noodle shop. What caught my attention of that shop was the huge Hello Kitty place at the window. lolz

The shop is full of flowers and it seems that they just opened the shop perhaps.
I love the cup cake shaped tissue dispenser.
I wanna get one myself. X3

Strawberry ice-blended yogurt @ RM4.90
(the price of the topping not included)

(with additional RM1.00 for each topping)

You can opt for the ala carte (just flavoured ice-blended yogurt without topping)
or the combo yogurt with 3 topping like what I did.
The selection of ice-blended yogurt is limited, but the taste is ok. Not bad.

They have a choice of toppings in the menu, such as Sago,
Yogurt Popping, Ai Yu (Jelly Ice), Aloe Vera and Pearl.
We chosed almond flakes, Nata De Coco and Longan for the topping.
The sweet Nata De Coco and Longan complimented
well with the sourish taste of the strawberry yogurt.
Hmmm...too bad the texture of the dessert is not smooth enough.

Squid Fritters @ RM 5.90

I am a big fan of squid. However, this snack was a let down.
It is salty and with a hint of spicy, it failed to compliment the taste.
The texture is fine as it served hot and crispy.

Sweet 16 has a limited choice of snacks as it serves ice-blended yogurt.
Besides yogurt, there are beverages(fruit juice, green tea) and snacks (chicken cutlets, golden sweet potatoes, french fries, chicken pop corn, etc.)

The facade of Sweet 16 with al fresco dining ares.

The huge Hello Kitty.
It must be good to snuggle one. XP

Sweet 16 can be a decent place to hang out with friends for a chat. With the pink interior and the super sweet decoration, it is perhaps a girly girl place to the guys. lolz
Anyway, the ice-blended yogurt still worth a try. A very cute kawaii place for those who like to paint the town pink.

Food: 7/10 (decent...the yogurt is ok, except for the salty squid)

Ambiance: 7/10 (clean, bright and adorable X3 )

More Info: No government and service tax included in the bill.
